The Center on American and Global Security (CAGS) is a research unit within Indiana University’s School of Global and International Studies.CAGS hosts guest lectures, organizes symposia, and publishes research on current topics within the security studies field.
The security challenges facing the United States and the global community in the early 21st century penetrate many areas of policy, and place increasing political, economic, legal, and social demands on governments, international organizations, private sector enterprises, and communities.
Indiana University has created the Center on American and Global Security (CAGS), within the IU School of Global and International Studies, to enhance and expand the teaching, research, and service mission of the University with respect to the security challenges facing the United States and international relations in the 21st century.
